Meet

Liz Treher
Liz Treher is the president and chief executive officer of
The Learning Key,
Inc., which provides learning tools, training, consulting and executive
coaching, principally for technology-based organizations. Prior to founding The
Learning Key, she held a variety of posts at Bristol-Myers Squibb and its
predecessor, E. R. Squibb & Co., dealing with technical, pre-clinical,
clinical and regulatory education, organizational development and training and
development. Among her accomplishments as head of the corporate college, was
the development of the curriculum for 22,000 employees world-wide.
Prior to these assignments, she led research groups, which
discovered and patented a new family of Tc compounds for heart and brain
imaging. As a staff member and project leader at Los Alamos National
Laboratory, she led several sophisticated nuclear research projects, including
high level nuclear waste management and disposal. Liz has contributed to over
65 published articles and patents. She is a member of the American Chemical
Society, a former board member of the Association of Psychological Type and a
former president of the Northeast Region. She also served as a director of
Paris en Cuisine, a French-based, American owned food travel company.
Liz earned her B.A. in Chemistry at Washington University
where she was also awarded an M.A. in Radiochemistry and a Ph.D. in Nuclear and
Radiochemistry.
Liz lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Jack, and
spends her summers in Northern Minnesota. When not working or traveling, she
can be found relaxing in one of her several gardens.
